EquipTechnology Return to the diagnostic

Privacy details

Clear about what we collect—and why.

Effective September 26, 2026

Equip Technology uses its own analytics to understand how people find and use the business check, improve the questions and results, and respond to requests. We do not use advertising pixels or device fingerprinting, and we do not sell personal information.

Information collected

When you use a diagnostic, Equip records coded answer choices, steps viewed and completed, timestamps, the result shown, referral hostname, campaign parameters such as UTMs, a broad device category, and a random identifier created for that browser tab. Equip’s diagnostic database does not store your IP address, precise location, full device fingerprint, or confidential free text from the diagnostic. The hosting provider may process standard request information for security and site operations.

Diagnostic events are associated with a random visit ID. They are not connected to an email unless you ask for an emailed result or book a meeting that can be matched to the visit. If you request a result email, Equip stores your email, answer choices, result, and marketing choice. The email is encrypted in the database; its domain is retained separately for basic reporting.

The link to Calendly contains the random visit ID, not your name, email, phone, or diagnostic answers. Calendly asks for your name and email when you book. Your organization, preparation note, and a number for Calendly's appointment text reminders are optional. Calendly sends those details and your optional marketing choice back to Equip so Patrick can prepare, follow up, and measure confirmed bookings. Equip uses the reminder number for appointment coordination, not marketing texts. The link does not tell Calendly your answer choices. Your visit ID may appear in your browser history.

The booking form separately asks whether Patrick may use Notion AI Meeting Notes to record, transcribe, and summarize the call. You can decline and still book. If you decline, the call should not be recorded or transcribed by that tool; Patrick may take ordinary notes instead.

A church or ministry application records organization information, the operational need described, readiness answers, and an organizational attestation that the applicant confesses the contents of the Apostles’ Creed shown on the ministry page. Application narratives are encrypted before storage. Equip asks about the organization, not the applicant’s personal religious history.

How the information is used

Marketing preference

Marketing emails are optional. The business result email form, Calendly booking form, and ministry application start with the marketing choice unchecked. Checking it is separate from requesting a result, booking a meeting, or applying for pro bono work. You can unsubscribe from later marketing messages. Asking for one result email does not add you to a marketing list.

Retention and sharing

Equip plans to delete anonymous diagnostic activity after 180 days and inquiries after three years without new contact. An active client or ministry relationship, a legal obligation, or a security need may require longer retention. Minimal unsubscribe records may be kept to prevent unwanted email. Scheduled deletion will begin only after the active relationship hold process has been tested.

Equip may use providers for website hosting, database storage, result email delivery, scheduling, or client records. They receive only the information needed to provide those services. Equip does not sell diagnostic or contact information.

Your choices

You can use the business check without entering contact details. You can also book through Calendly without requesting a result email. To request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy review, email patrick@equiptechnology.io.
